Have a question? We have the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!

  • What year is my cart?

Most golf carts have a serial number label on the frame of the cart below the seat or in the dashboard area. The specific location varies by manufacturer and model. That label will tell you the year of your cart.

  • How old are my batteries?

To check the date on batteries used in golf carts, there are a few things to look for. Top-quality batteries will have a date code stamped into the (-) negative battery post. The code consists of a single letter and a single number. The letter designates the month with A=January, B=February, etc. The number designates the year with 0=2010, 1=2011, etc. So for example, a battery with a date code of D5 is April 2015.

  • How do I maintain my cart and batteries?

Everything you need to know about maintaining your golf carts and their batteries can be found in the owner's manual. For more information, give us a call and our experts will be happy to answer your questions.

  • I just came back to Florida and my cart won't run or charge. What do I do?

If golf carts are left to sit for many months without a charge, the batteries can become deeply discharged and won't be recognized. First, you'll want to check your circuit breaker and GFCI to be sure the charger is getting power. If it is, then you most likely have a deeply discharged battery. As a result, your charger will not activate because it does not recognize a healthy battery pack present. Your cart will require a jump start and possibly new batteries.

  • How do I get my cart to your service department?

While some owners have a suitable truck and trailer to transport golf carts, most people utilize our Matt’s Custom Golf Carts delivery truck.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

Matt’s Custom Golf Carts accepts personal checks drawn on U.S. banks with a valid ID. We also accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit cards as well as cash in US currency. We also will accept financial institute financing for our golf carts.
